02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Auchenblae Parks is set up to provide facilities for the village of Auchenblae and the surrounding areas. We currently provide an outdoor park area (The Den), football pitch, bike pump track, bowling green, tennis courts, adventure playground and toddlers playpark , golf course and public toilets. We provide these facilities through several means. The commitee is responsible for the oversight of these facilities with convenors assigned to each asset to allow for easier management of ongoing projects, maintenance etc. We raise funds through grants that are applied for throughout the year. The golf course also gives us an income stream that allows us to employ groundspeople for the facilities upkeep, grass cutting, repairs and helpsus to maintain these areas. We have plans to improve and update the existing facilities as well as securing existing infrastructure that requires ongoing maintenance, bridges, paths, roads etc etc.

The organisation's purposes are to provide recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, being the residents of the village of Auchenblae and the surrounding area, together with any visitors to the village or the surrounding area, by holding, maintaining and enhancing a wide range of recreational facilities located within the village of Auchenblae.
