What the charity exists to do
Our charity was set up to improve the recreational facilities at Lightlands Park in Wigtown, to give children and young people a modernised, safe, inclusive playspace. Our charity has primarily raised funds by applying to grant funders and through our own fundraising activities.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation’s purposes are: To provide safe and inclusive recreational space to upgrade current facilities within Lightlands Park, Wigtown by fundraising and applying for grants of which all funds raised will exclusively benefit the local community in concordance with section 7 (2) of the 2005 Act. (d)Advancement of health (i) Provision of provisional facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
