Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community residents of Achmore, Crossbost, Grimshader, Leurbost and Ranish (thereafter called 'the neighbourhood'), without distinction of sex, or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort with activities including but not restricted to : 4.1 The provision of activities that encourage the improvement of physical and mental health. 4.2 The promotion of community development by means of activities and projects that encourage community benefit and involvement. 4.3 The advancement of the arts. heritage and culture 4.4 The advancement of public participation in sport 4.5 The provision and organisation of recreational activities 4.6 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage 4.7 Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes
