02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity is set up to sincerely serve the community of Lochgilphead and the surrounding areas with Christian love, support and encouragement. Our act of Christian serving is embedded in a wide range of ministry and outreach programs that we facilitate from the church, and, with which we use to practice our beliefs, raise Christian awareness, and to meet needs in our community, through providing social, Spiritual, and emotional support. These programs are geared towards a wide range of recipients, from toddlers to the elderly, and across the social economic divide, and are closely tied up in the teachings of the Christian faith. Some key areas, but not limited to them, that we engage in, are the weekly public gathering for worship, our poverty relief initiative, pastoral community support for the elderly and sick, and the work directed towards toddlers, children and teenagers
