What the charity exists to do

The Shed welcomes men aged 18 and over and provides a supportive, inclusive environment where members can meet regularly for companionship, conversation, and shared activities. Open on Tuesday mornings, Thursday evenings (except during the colder winter months), and Sunday mornings, it offers a relaxed setting to enjoy refreshments and social interaction. The Shed is equipped with a range of woodworking tools and equipment, which members use both for personal projects and for producing items to sell locally or provide for community organisations. In addition to practical activities, members can enjoy board games and other indoor pursuits, while the group also arranges outings, guest talks, and seasonal social events, including Christmas gatherings and Burns Night celebrations
