Provide financial help and support for local charities, non-charities and individuals serving the community within DG13 postcode area

Constitutional objectives

I direct the Trustees to hold the Trust Estate and utilise the income and capital therefrom as funds permit at the sole discretion of the Trustees to benefit any one or more of the following classes of beneficiaries namely (One) local Community Registered Charities who have a base in Dumfries and Galloway and who specifically operate and service the community within the DG13 Langholm postcode area (Two) non-charitable rganisations serving the community within the DG13 Langholm postcode area and (Three) individuals previously known to me carrying out similar work within the DG13 Langholm postcode area and that by making payments to such recipients for use in connection with (a) advancement of health (b) the advancement of citizenship or community development (c) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage (d) the advancement of animal welfare and (e) any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes and beneficial to the Townspeople and environment of the Langholm community generally
