Constitutional objectives

The Alliances objects are to foster unity and cooperation among Muslims and society at large. The promotion of religious and racial harmony in Glasgow across those associated with the Islamic faith tradition or otherwise. with particular emphasis on promoting intra and interfaith relations across faith groups and denominations through the provision of a place of gathering for lectures and public meetings. The advancement of Islamic education in Glasgow amongst people of the Muslim faith, including, but not exclusively, those people who have converted and wish to convert to the religion of Islam, by building and strengthening links between various Islamic groups throughout the City. The promotion of equality and diversity In Glasgow across those associated with the Islamic faith tradition or otherwise. with particular emphasis on celebrating diversity across faith groups and denominations through the provision of a place of gathering for lectures and public meetings. The prevention and relief of human suffering in Glasgow amongst disadvantaged groups belonging to the Muslim faith or otherwise, from BME segments of society or otherwise, through the undertaking of humanitarian projects and activities where required.
