02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are a tandem cycling club for visually impaired people to cycle with sighted pilots. The club has long and short rides at weekends twice a month all year, and regular Wednesday evenings from April to September. We also participate in weekend overnight rides and cycle sportives. The club also has social events.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, or other disadvantage, in particular those who are blind, partially sighted or have a dual sensory loss (the 'Community'). 4.2 the advancement of public participation in sport, in particular in respect of the participation by individuals within the Community with sport, particularly but not exclusively tandem cycling, and active travel. 4.3 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for and the well being of the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, particularly but not exclusively through tandem cycling and related or associated activities.
