02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to take on responsibility of Union Park Pavilion from The City of Edinburgh Council, to refurbish it bringing it up to 21st Century standards and then to manage it for the community and users in order that it is financially sustainable.

Constitutional objectives
The SCIO's purposes are: (a) The provision of sports and community facilities, especially in Rugby Football according to the laws approved by the Scottish Rugby Union, to improve the health and wellbeing of children and adults in Corstorphine and surrounding areas. (b) To play, promote and encourage public participation in sport, especially of Rugby Football at Corstorphine Rugby Football Club (referred to hereafter as 'The Club') according to the laws approved by the Scottish Rugby Union. (c) To raise funds for the above through letting The Pavilion to The Club and to the community.
