What the charity exists to do
Provide grants to other charitable organisations which carry out activities to further the aim and objectives of the Murtaza Trys

Constitutional objectives
The Trustees shall hold and apply the foregoing legacy from the estate of the late Mrs Hamida Begum Murtaza, and such other funds and assets as may from time to time be comprised in the Trust Property, in trust for the following puirposes:- (a) to advance education by providing support to schools, college and in the community for educational and skills training in Scotland and elsewhere in the world. (b) to advance religion and promote racial harmony through educational projects in Scotland and elsewhere in the world. (c) to assist those in need because they are disadvantaged compared to others through poverty, disasters of any description or discrimination for whatever reason.
