The charity's purpose is to advance arts, culture and heritage by developing and managing a centre for music education and public performance at the historic Royal High School, Calton Hill, Edinburgh. to provide cultural community and public benefit to and for the people of Scotland and beyond. to advance education in the field of music. and, to establish and maintain a public garden for recreational use by the public and for its environmental, horticultural and restorative benefits.
