02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity aims to reach out to people in need in the Easterhouse community area by providing pantry/foodbank services, offering braids training and run a cafeteria with affordable prices to promote inclusion, health and social wellbeing. However, due to lack of fund, most of our activities, rent and bills are covered by the trustees themselves. Our hope is to receive help from the government and individual organisations in order to continue our services to the community. We are currently liaising with Neighbourly, Fairshare and the Felix Project who further connect us with supermarkets and wholesalers in order to make food distribution available in a weekly basis.
