What the charity exists to do

Advance education by delivering music and cultural arts programmes for young people aged 12–19 within the Area of Benefit. Provide access to music-making and creative digital production, including instruments, tuition, recording facilities, rehearsal space, performance opportunities, and filmmaking equipment and workshops. Reduce barriers to cultural learning by ensuring inclusive access regardless of background, ethnicity, location, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or financial circumstances. Offer youth-centred, meaningful creative experiences in music, arts, and digital media, fostering positive social interaction and relationships in safe, supportive, community-based environments.

Constitutional objectives

5 The organisation's purposes are: 5.1 To advance education through the provision of music education and the delivery of cultural arts learning programmes among young people aged between 12-19 years old residing within the Area of Benefit (the 'beneficiaries'). and 5.2 The advancement of arts and cultural engagement for beneficiaries through providing a range of music making and creative digital production facilities. including access to. musical instruments, professional tuition, digital sound recording facilities, music rehearsal space, supported performance opportunities, digital video and audio filmmaking and sound recording equipment and training workshops. 5.3 The prevention or relief of poverty of access to cultural learning resources and facilities and ensure that young people within the area of benefit are not prevented from access to cultural learning resources because of their background, ethnicity, location, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or financial circumstances. 5.4 Coordinate young person-centred learning opportunities for beneficiaries to take part in life-enhancing experiences, through access to music, creative arts and digital media production in ways which are meaningful, enjoyable, and shaped by them. Promote positive social interactions and relationships amongst beneficiaries, and provide opportunities for creative learning in safe, supportive environments rooted in local communities.
