Constitutional objectives

4. The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To advance the Christian faith in Paisley, Renfrewshire, with particular focus on Shortroods and surrounding neighbourhoods, through worship, discipleship, and outreach, promoting spiritual wellbeing, moral development, and compassionate living in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. 4.2 To relieve poverty and financial hardship within Paisley and Renfrewshire by providing practical support, food assistance, skills development, and community based programmes for individuals and families experiencing disadvantage, regardless of background, belief, or circumstance. 4.3 To advance citizenship and community development in Paisley and Renfrewshire by delivering inclusive programmes that promote social cohesion, youth empowerment, personal transformation, and long term regeneration of individuals and communities. 4.4 To promote education and lifelong learning in Paisley and Renfrewshire, including faith based and secular training, leadership development, and mentoring opportunities that equip people to lead purposeful, resilient lives. 4.5 To provide facilities and services for community benefit in Paisley and Renfrewshire, including spaces for wellbeing, recreation, and support services, with a commitment to inclusive access and collaborative use of assets for the common good. 4.6 Use of facilities and participation in programmes will be open to all members of the community in Paisley and Renfrewshire, regardless of faith, belief, or background, with particular regard to serving the needs of residents in Shortroods and central Paisley neighbourhoods.
