02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to provide First Aid services for free to other local non-profit organisations through project grass roots, at the end of which will begin project Green Grass where we will be making local organisations and event organisers aware of our services and be attending local events providing our First Aid services as well as recruiting new volunteers from across the spectrum to give them something to do and experience that they can put towards futures jobs should they wish to do so. We will then begin project Nightingale in which we will offer out services to the door and bar staff of angus, supporting them, the general public as well as the Police and Ambulance Services by providing First Response care to those who become unwell or injured through the consumption of or as a result of alcohol or drugs.

(a) To save lives by providing First Aid services and public events and by providing a First Response service to support the public and Door Supervisors between the hours of 6am and 6pm. (b) To advance health by supporting the physical and mental health of the public, by working alongside the Scottish Ambulance Service and providing a first response service, therefore reducing the demand to the Scottish Ambulance Service. (c) To save lives and advance health by providing welfare packages to the public to help reduce public nuisance from noise, to help prevent spiking incidents, to support safe sex and to provide footwear to reduce injury to those who choose to walk barefoot when their own footwear hurts too much to wear. Therefore, reducing the demand on Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
