What the charity exists to do
The allotment is set up to create a welcoming community space where people can connect with nature, improve wellbeing, learn about biodiversity and enjoy the benefits of a regenerated green environment. Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are 4.1 For the benefit of the inhabitants of Greengairs and North Lanarkshire area to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time activities generally. but specifically to provide or assist in the provision of allotments with the objects of improving the quality of life for the said inhabitants generally. 4.2 To advance environmental protection and improvement, and to promote citizenship and community development by providing the local community access to allotments so that they have the opportunity to be involved in a totally inclusive and accessible activity that will have positive outcomes for the individual and the community
