02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Tin Hut Sessions meets monthly in the Gartly Community Hall for open music sessions which encourage people of all abilities to listen and play in a supportive environment. The aim is to promote live music and encourage participation. We hold concerts to introduce different types of music to the community and participate in community events to bring live music to the community and to encourage local people to play and sing (or just to enjoy listening).

4 The organisation's purposes are: (a) To provide opportunities for local musicians to play in a supportive and friendly environment.
