02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to support ethnic minority communities, particularly new migrants, to overcome challenges around digital access, understanding UK systems, and immigration processes. We aim to reduce isolation, build confidence, and help people become more independent and active in their communities. We do this by providing regular support sessions in a warm, safe, and welcoming space where people feel comfortable asking for help. Our sessions focus on digital skills, accessing services, and guidance on immigration matters. We also offer one-to-one support for more complex needs, such as visa applications or job searching. Through this approach, we empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to improve their lives and fully participate in society.
