Constitutional objectives

3.1 to support Scottish undergraduate or postgraduate students studying classical singing, to further the development of their singing skills and allow such students to undertake education and training which would assist them in their career in classical singing. 3.2 to assist such students in paying their tuition fees, maintenance costs, or other costs directly associated with furthering their singing or performance skills. 3.3 to award bursaries to such students to assist them with their education and training. 3.4 to benefit in any way such other similar charitable purposes relating to training and education in singing and music as the Trustees shall see fit. 3.5 The decision on which students shall qualify as 'Scottish students' for the purpose of this trust shall be entirely at the discretion of the Trustees but we intend that preference shall be given to those who were born or have lived mostly in Scotland over those who born or living elsewhere who have come to Scotland to study.
