02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Cove Sailing Club promotes community development and water-based activities on the Rosneath Peninsula through inclusive membership, sailing programmes, and community events. We welcome all backgrounds with various membership categories and offer twice-weekly races, equipment hire, and boat storage. Our free cadet training programme develops young sailors while fostering community engagement. Our extensive event calendar - including our annual regatta, themed food nights, music evenings, and gear swaps - is open to both members and the wider public. Our clubhouse serves as a community hub for local events and gatherings. Through these integrated activities, we provide essential social infrastructure that strengthens bonds across generations and serves the entire peninsula community.
