02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We aim to engage and support young people in increasing their understanding of the Christian faith and in putting their faith into action. We have four areas of work: schools, churches, communities, and training and development of volunteers in youth work. We run a variety of activities such as Scripture Union Clubs in local schools, Monday Club a weekly club where primary aged pupils get involved in fun activities as well as hearing a story from the Bible, enabling and accompanying young people attend Scripture Union holidays, mentoring of teenagers through their volunteering on the Project.
