To provide and maintain Smailholm Village Hall as a community facility for the benefit of the inhabitants of Smailholm village and surrounding area covered by the following postcodes: TD5 7PH, TD5 7PJ, TD5 7PQ, TD5 7PF, TD5 7PG, TD5 7PL, TD5 7PN, TD5 7RT, TD5 7SB, TD5 7SD, TD5 7SE, TD3 6LG without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, for recreation, leisure and educational purposes of all kinds with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants. To promote citizenship and community development in the area.
