02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our Charity is set up to provide a social prescribing hub and community cafe for members of the local community to meet and benefit from support offered by other 3rd sector organisations. We provide a warm and inviting space for members of the community to meet and enjoy home cooked food and drinks whilst also benefitting from activities that we host for other organisations. We also support smaller community led groups to meet at no cost. We listen to the needs of the local community and aim to facilitate the support to meet them within their own community setting. We work in partnership with the local GP surgery who can directly signpost to on-site support at the time of need.
