What the charity exists to do
To help present and past members of the the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and their dependents, including students undertaking relevant training with a view to becoming a member, in times of need. Emotional, practical and financial support is focussed on individual beneficiary need and delivered via outreach services and/or financial grants and advances.

4.1 The organisation's purposes are the prevention or relief of poverty and relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by providing help in conditions of need to: 4.1.1 members and former members of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and / or their dependents. and 4.1.2 students undertaking relevant education and training with a view to becoming members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and / or their dependents.
