02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Balfron High School Parent Council is set up to do the following. - Support Balfron High School in its work with pupils, - Promote partnership through the active participation of parents, - Lead Parent Forum participation - Act as a communication conduit between school management, parents, pupils and community. This is achieved through a series of meetings each year, bringing together representatives of the Parent Council, school management, parents and pupils. The Parent Council also undertake a range of fund raising activities, with the funds raised used to make grants to support specific requests from the school.
