02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Mental Haggis Clan provides a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental environment where people experiencing mental health challenges, loneliness or social isolation can connect with others. We improve wellbeing by holding regular peer support meetings, social activities and wellbeing sessions that encourage friendship, confidence and inclusion. Our aim is to reduce isolation, promote positive mental health and build a supportive community where everyone feels valued and able to access help when they need it
