02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity is set up to promote and normalise women in the haulage industry whilst holding various fundraising events and selling merchandise throughout the year. All profits to be divided by the charities we pick at the start of the year

The advancement of education by informing the public on the role that women play within the haulage industry. and iii. The distribution of funding within and outwith Scotland for: - (a) the prevention or relief of poverty. (b) the advancement of education. (c) the advancement of health. (d) the saving of lives. (e) the advancement of citizenship or community development. (f) the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. (g) the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. (h) the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation. (i) the promotion of equality and diversity. (j) the advancement of environmental protection or improvement. (k) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. and (l) the advancement of animal welfare.
