02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We work closely with our sister charity in Venezuela to help support referrals of those most in need in Venezuela. It has been a few years since the beginning of the country’s economic collapse and many families continue to be affected. Unable to afford many of the things we take for granted in Scotland and England. In particular, access to health care is challenging for many because it is costly. We send financial aid to an orphanage in Venezuela, which covers food, utilities, health care and educational resources. In the future

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation?s charitable purposes are: a) To provide relief of poverty to individuals, families or communities with financial and material assistance. In order for them to maintain a decent standard of living and to relieve the worry over the basics of food, water, medicines, medical treatments and shelter. b) To provide relief of poverty by means of material and financial help to those affected by natural disasters or war. c) To relieve those in need by reason of disadvantage by collecting and distributing food, furnishings, clothes and toys. d) To provide relief of poverty by supporting orphanages and by means of material and financial assistance. e) To advance education by supporting overseas schools by means of books, equipment, maintenance of the school building and contributing toward running costs.
