What the charity exists to do

4.1. The advancement of environmental protection and development through promoting the reuse of items within the Mearns community to aid sustainable development. 4.2. To administer grants and donations to charitable groups and/or individuals within the Mearns community for the following purposes: 4.2.1. The Relief of poverty 4.2.2. The advancement of health 4.2.3. The advancement of citizenship or community development 4.2.4. The advancement of public participation in sport 4.2.5. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage 4.2.6. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
