02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

WILDE Scotland is a charity dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of children and young people across Scotland, especially those in areas of deprivation. We do this through the advancement of education, public participation in sport, community development, and the promotion of equality. Founded by Scottish educators, we deliver programmes that build life skills, resilience, and well-being. Our “Curriculum for Life” framework combines education, sport, mentoring, and trauma-informed care to help young people thrive. We work closely with schools, local authorities, and community partners to ensure our services are inclusive, impactful, and rooted in the real needs of young people.
