02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are the advancement of good citizenship and the affordable participation in sport, exercise, leisure and well- being and entertainment within the community. In the year, we continued to operate and manage the Brightons Community Hall. Activity remains stable after Covid and the Hall diary is busy. The team completed Asset Transfer of the hall, and so much time and resource is being put towards making the hall a vibrant and sustainable amenity in the area. This can be challenging due to vigorous competition from other venues who are also trying to diversify and grow.
