02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is established to advance education and religion by providing primary schooling informed by the Orthodox Christian ethos. We operate a small independent primary school offering a full curriculum for P1–P7 that is academically rigorous, knowledge-based, and enriched through Classical Education. Our religious character is overseen by the Archdiocese of Thyatira and Great Britain through His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas and his Grace Bishop Raphael. To ensure broad and balanced learning, pupils receive instruction in core academic subjects alongside music, art, drama, physical education, and extracurricular activities. As a non-profit organisation, we set fees at cost and actively seek to build a bursary fund so that no child is excluded due to financial limitations. Our aim is to provide an excellent, rounded, and accessible education for all pupils as well as opportunities for educational gathering and community building for children and their families.
