02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
1. Promote the interests of Minority Ethnic Groups and Refugees in West Lothian and support their settlement and integration into the local community. We do this through job-readiness training, language and skills support, and help accessing education, schools, and childcare. 2. Provide safe and welcoming spaces where community members can gather without fear of discrimination, harassment, or prejudice. We organise regular gatherings, classes, and events designed to include all age groups, particularly vulnerable individuals and families.

Constitutional objectives
1 The association's purposes are: To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in West Lothian and surrounding areas who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed .in particular, members of the Muslim community. to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by: 1. providing a local network group that encourages and enables members of the Muslim community to participate more effectively with the wider community. 2. increasing, or co-ordinating, opportunities for members of the Muslim community to engage with service providers, to enable those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.'
