02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
At Relight Church we want to grow a generative community through helping people to know God, know themselves and live out God’s plan for their lives. We do this through Relighting people’s connection to God, Restoration and Repair. Relight: We help people to nurture and grow their connection to God through understanding who He is, who He created each of us uniquely to be and the truth He has for our lives. Restore: We help people handle the burdens that they face in their lives so they can get back to the point before they lost their energy. Repair: We help people to love and lead according to God's Will, ultimately building a community that generates more energy over time. We do this through a range of services and events including weekly Sunday services, the Relight Restoration Programme, online Bible study, baptisms events and fellowship evenings.

Constitutional objectives
The Purposes are the advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, primarily in Dundee, and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world, by all means consistent with: 4.1 The Christian Bible. and 4.2 The Charity's Statement of Faith. through worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer, fellowship, networking, education, community service and the provision of activities and facilities for the community, and the relief of poverty and other social needs, including the support of individuals and other charitable organisations and agencies involved in any or all of these.
