Constitutional objectives
1 The SCIO is established to protect and promote the heritage of the Commandos by. (a) providing a means to display original World War II artefacts and post war information relating to Commandos, (b) promoting research and education of national and regional history as it relates to Commando training and operations and making that information available to the general public, and (c) where possible, provide grants to support the wellbeing of Commandos and their families who are in need due to ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
