Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are established to provide public benefit in Scotland and elsewhere. The organisation’s purposes are: (i) To improve and sustain healthy ageing and good quality of life for older and ageing people living with HIV. (ii) To advance the education of the public and those most affected on healthy ageing with HIV. (iii) To raise awareness of human rights of older and ageing people living with HIV (iv) To advance the knowledge and awareness of health and social care providers and practitioners on the issues that most affect older and ageing people living with HIV. (v) To raise awareness of equality, equity, inclusion and diversity issues as they relate to older and ageing people living with HIV. (vi) To promote community development by assisting older and ageing people living with HIV to live better, safer and more fulfilled lives and encouraging social inclusion. (vii) To assist older and ageing people living with HIV who are in need due to the disadvantages of living with a chronic health condition.
