02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is established to promote environmental protection and alleviate poverty in disadvantaged areas of Tanzania. We achieve this by promoting sustainable land use through reforestation, coffee and avocado farming, and the establishment of tree nurseries. We’ve received a six-acre land donation in Loriko Boloti, Hai District, Kilimanjaro, where we will plant indigenous trees to combat deforestation and soil erosion on Mt. Kilimanjaro. These efforts also support local livelihoods by creating jobs and providing food security through fruit tree gardening and eco-agriculture. Our work blends environmental restoration with community empowerment.
