02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We are committed to continuing our current provision of three weekly social activity sessions designed specifically for people living with dementia and their unpaid carers. Each session will offer a rich and varied programme of activities designed to support people living with dementia and their unpaid carers. These activities will be carefully planned to promote creativity, movement, memory, and meaningful connection—while fostering a sense of community and joy. Our programme will include: Arts and Crafts – hands-on creative sessions that encourage self-expression Greenspace Gardening and Outdoor Arts – engaging with nature through planting, outdoor creativity, and seasonal garden projects. Dancing and Singing – uplifting group sessions that promote memories and shared enjoyment. Reminiscence Sessions – storytelling and memory-sharing activities that celebrate life experiences and strengthen identity. This is provided by 4 part-time employees and 24 volunteers.
