02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

to advance the Christian religion, particularly amongst golfers and those within the golfing community by, amongst other things:- (a) creating an opportunity to encounter the Lord Jesus Christ through the provision of hospitality. (b) providing chaplaincy support, including facilitating the training of the chaplains. (c) creating an open and welcoming network of peers where matters of faith can be discussed and shared in a congenial, welcoming and safe environment. (d) acquiring suitable property in St Andrews or elsewhere from where to provide said hospitality support and safe environment, and to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
