Constitutional objectives

The organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Kilravock as defined by the community council areas of Croy and Cawdor as defined by the Highland Council( 'the Community'), with the Purposes listed in clause 5 below ('the Purposes'), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs). The organisation's purposes are: a) The advancement of the cultural heritage of Kilravock and the Clan Rose for the benefit of the community and future generations. b) The advancement of the history of Kilravock and the Clan Rose for the benefit of the community and future generations. c) The advancement of education through increasing the public knowledge of the heritage of Scotland, including the clan system and the role of Clan Rose, through the dissemination of literature and otherwise.
