The Organisation’s main purpose is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The Organisation’s Purposes are: 5.1 The advancement of heritage and culture by preserving and conserving the Cathcart Old Parish Church as a building of historic and architectural interest. 5.2 The advancement of citizenship and community development (including urban regeneration) through the provision of services and activities that contribute to the social, cultural and potential regeneration of the Community. 5.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational, social and cultural activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the whole Community.
