Constitutional objectives

The SCIO will promote, advance and further Charitable purposes by operating to promote the efficient and effective application of resources by charities and other third sector organisations in order to enable those charities and organisations to advance, further and support any of the purposes set out in section 7 of the 2005 Act (which accords with (section 7(2(f) and 7(3)(b)(ii) of the 2005 Act))) in so far as consistent with recognition as a charity or charitable for the purposes of the Taxes Acts and to do so in Scotland, the UK and beyond.
