Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are for the benefit of female survivors of domestic abuse in regard to. a) The advancement of Health - Good Mental Health - through weekly meetings where we can work through past traumas through art and writing. discuss and support immediate successes and day to day difficulties when needed. and promote a brighter more hopeful future with a programme of activities designed for improving good mental health & well-being. b) The advancement of Arts by empowering our survivors to exhibit our artwork in various local exhibitions to highlight the issue of Domestic Abuse. work with Art and Writing Therapists to improve our work and use Art & Writing as a tool to help and promote recovery. c) The organisation and provision of recreational activities - Art & Writing. specialised creative healing sessions and other artistic activities - for our survivors of Domestic Abuse. d) The Advancement of Education by Informal Education through Lived Experience - where we ensure that the signs of domestic abuse are discussed and recognised within our own group and to work with social workers/social services to help them better understand the viewpoint of survivors’ lived experience with a view to help improve their practise for others victims of Domestic Abuse.
