02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We offer social, recreational, and educational purposes to benefit local residents. Our community hall is used for club meetings, playgroups, exercise classes, health & well-being groups, and private events. We endeavour to promote cohesion and reduce isolation. We support activities that advance education, health & well being, social inclusion, arts, culture & heritage. It achieves this by managing the hall, keeping it safe, accessible and fit for use. We host events, hire out space and work with other organisations such as schools, councils and local groups. We also fund raise and apply for grants to sustain and improve the hall.
