02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

New4U Children’s Clothing Bank supports children and families in West Fife by providing free, good quality clothing to those experiencing hardship. We believe every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident and included, regardless of circumstances. Working with schools, health visitors, social workers and community organisations, we accept referrals and provide a week’s worth of clothing tailored to each child’s needs. Every pack always includes brand new underwear, purchased by the charity, alongside donated items which are carefully sorted by volunteers and packed with dignity. By redistributing clothing we relieve financial pressure on families while promoting reuse and reducing waste. Our work is volunteer-led and overseen by trustees, ensuring we remain community-driven and responsive to local needs.
