What the charity exists to do

(a) encouraging practical, responsible and sustainable approaches to land and water management, which embrace sound science and evidence-based decision making for the benefit of the wider community. (b) provide advice and support to practical works that restore, protect and maintain aquatic habitats, with a particular emphasis on increasing resilience to climate change. (c) managing projects to improve habitats and water quality of lochs and burns in Orkney. and (d) running education programmes for schools, colleges, communities and volunteers.
