What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to aid the vulnerable and poorer members of the community. We do this by operating a food pantry service to help the porter members and then a number of different activities for different groups of people to get involved in

Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Lennoxtown (the 'Community'), through the establishment of a Food Pantry & Hub with the following purposes: (a) The prevention or relief of poverty through tackling food insecurity by providing a dignified approach to accessing low cost, quality food which enables personal choice. (b) The advancement of Community Development. addressing issues of inequality and social justice and bringing about changes that improve the quality of life for the whole community by: • Helping to build local capacity through providing people with opportunities for learning and gaining new skills through volunteering & training. • Empowering the community to be proactive in providing solutions to locally identified needs/issues and to address gaps in support. (c) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by working in partnership with other local and national organisations to provide a holistic approach including information and wrap around support which alleviates the cost of living and the impact this has on people's mental health and wellbeing. (d) The provision of recreational facilities which provides a warm safe space for local groups and people to meet. alleviating social isolation. (e) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by reducing food waste.
