02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Deliver organised football programmes for children, young people and adults to increase participation in sport and improve physical and mental wellbeing across the community. Provide inclusive, accessible and affordable recreational opportunities, ensuring barriers to participation are removed for those from disadvantaged or underrepresented groups. Develop players, coaches and volunteers through structured training, education and community engagement initiatives that promote lifelong involvement in sport. Facilitate community-based activities, partnerships and events that strengthen social connections and improve quality of life in Kirkliston, South Queensferry and surrounding areas. Promote equality, diversity and fair treatment in all club activities, ensuring a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all participants regardless of background or ability.

Constitutional objectives
The Club's purposes are: 5.1 the advancement of public participation in sport to improve the health and wellbeing of a wide range of participants, in particular in the sport of football. 5.2 the provision of recreational facilities and organised sporting pursuits to improve the well-being and conditions of life for the community in Kirkliston, South Queensferry and the surrounding area, through participation in sport and social activities in furtherance of these objects. and 5.3 to ensure equality of opportunity and fair treatment of all people involved in sport, regardless of gender, pregnancy and maternity, gender reassignment, disability, race (including ethnic background, nationality or colour), marital or civil partnership status, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief, social background or ability.
