02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is established to prevent poverty by supporting individuals and families who are facing financial hardship or living in vulnerable conditions. We focus on practical, immediate assistance that helps people meet their basic needs and maintain dignity. We do this by providing clean water, ensuring communities have access to safe and reliable sources that reduce illness and improve daily living. We also supply food parcels to those experiencing hunger or food insecurity, offering essential nutrition when it is needed most. In addition, we distribute clothing to individuals who cannot afford suitable or weather-appropriate garments, helping them stay warm, comfortable and confident. Through these combined efforts, our charity works to reduce the pressures of poverty, improve well-being, and support people towards a more stable and secure future.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are: The prevention or relief of poverty primarily within (but not restricted to) Pakistan. The prevention of poverty includes preventing those who are poor from becoming poorer, as well as preventing those who are at risk of being poor from becoming poor. The relief of those in need primarily within (but not restricted to) Pakistan including those experiencing financial hardship, distress and suffering particularly amongst poor people and other people in need, by means of, supplying, providing, or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities, including the provision or assistance in the provision of food and clothing for the benefit of the public.
