We support parents raising children to speak more than one language, and advice well as educators, speech and language therapists and other professionals who support multilingual families.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are to (a) advance education and the heritage, culture and science: Bilingual Family will advance the understanding of the benefits of bilingualism and multilingualism for children and young people and provide accurate, research-based information and advice to parents of bilingual children and to professionals supporting bilingual and multilingual children and families. (b) advance human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation and promote equality and diversity: Bilingual Family will promote language equality and diversity to give every child the chance to learn and use their heritage language(s) alongside the main language(s) of the community they live in, as stated in UN's Convention of the Rights of the Child, article 30.
